Has anyone found a way of doing this? If not, are Microsoft planning to update the client any any point? However, the client flatly refuses to connect with a TLS1.2 dialect - always only TLS1.0.

I have already added the following to the registry on both server and client: Water their standards can be a good reference point.

OK there are (probably?) effective countermeasures in all current software stacks (I really hope that includes schannel) but we all know well meaning people can go back and "clean up" old code.Īnyone for a Debian random number? ) More seriously, it would be good to be able to configure this for those situations where a specified secuirty level is a requirement of a contract and while the NSA doesn't have much say in things this side of the

Padding oracle attacks were demontrated a few years ago (2003ish). I have always felt rather lukewarm about AES-CBC mode in TLS since the Is there any way to force RDP to use TLS version 1.2 since I would ideally like to switch to the Suite B TLS ciphers e.g. I know there is Nvidia Grid K1 and then there is ATI's FirePro 7xxx Series, but I need to know if these will work for 40 users non VDI.

Question: How many users (non VDI) per a video card with 16GB of memory? Question: What video card would be "BEST" for this in 2016? Is this because it will work in a generation 1 VM, but not a generation 2 VM?

Question: I had heard Windows Server 2012 R2 in a VM would not work for this but would work in Server 2016. Question: Can this be done with a VM of 2008 R2 or do I need to move my VM to 2012 R2? Does anyone have any recommendations if I'd like a step up upgrade from my. Hello, I love the application awareness of NGFWs from Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet and others, but even their lowest tier models are prohibitively expensive for me for home use. It seems in order to allow access to any Windows Server 2008 system I would need to have my domain controller and licensing hosted on a server running Windows Server 2008 as well? I cant think of anyway to remedy this in its current state other than the fact that I do still have 30 unregistered User CALs for my Win2003 Server that I could use to run it as a new licensing server and then also make it the domain controller, but from what I've read here and elsewhere Im still in the same boat because a Server 2003 with CALs will still not allow access to the new 2008 Server and I cant register 2008 CALs on an 2003 system. I presented them with pretty much the same info I've posted here and yet I was sold these licenses which wont work so I’m hoping they remedy the issue for me since they should have seen this coming. I already contacted my rep who is now working with their MS Licensing specialist to sort this out. I purchased these through TigerDirect Corporate Sales. Looks like I've got some wrangling to do with my vendor on this now.
